Battle of the Golden SPurs 1302

I’m building a rather large terrainboard for a friend and I thought I show some pictures of it in its unfinished state.

It represents the terrain near Kortrijk (Belgium) where Flemish Town militias won a brilliant victory against French knights in 1302.

The entire thing is 3m by 1.7m and consists of 10 individual boards of 60cm by 85cm. Everything on it, except for the well and archery targets that were 3D printed, is scratchbuilt.

The ground work being done “all” I need to do now is pour a resin river and “landscape” the whole thing. 🙂

If you like this sort of thing come back often because as soon as it is finished I will post a ton of pictures here. Cheers.
