    Dear Fons and Co.

I have blogged about our latest and final Waterloo 200 practice game here:

    Rehearsal

    La Haye Sainte

I don’t reckon this project could have gotten off the ground without Fons and his MMPS to provide so many of the troops. And the iconic La Haye Sainte you see above was scratchbuilt by him!

Anyhow, the project is going well and if I can just paint up the British Union Brigade, and about a trillion French skirmishers, we should be fine!

You have no idea how jealous I am, that looks absolutely amazing! I’m very glad that I could help out a little.

I still have hundreds of not assembled, unpainted French skirmishers, British riflemen and Prussian Jaegers so just shout out if you need any. I’ll be happy to send you what you need. No charge, just shipping costs if they are larger than a few bucks.

    Cheers,

    Fons

Yes you have helped out a lot – if I have time on the weekend I will estimate how many of the models present were assembled by you – it will be hundreds if not thousands I reckon!

Thank you for the kind offer – French Skirmisher pieces would be very welcome please if its not too much trouble – do you still have a paypal account for postage?

Received the box of goodies – I think the Emperor will now have sufficient Voltigeurs to keep the Rosbifs and Boche ducking! Thanks so much Fons!

I want to second Sparkers plaudits for Fons! Without him I doubt we would be even close to having the figures required.
That and Barry would still be staring at unopened and unpainted figures.

Barry would be staring at unopened and unpainted figures anyway, with or without my help. It’s the nature of us wargamers. 🙂
